Prof. Dow teaches primarily project-based classes in interaction design, prototyping, entrepreneurship, social computing and collective intelligence at UC San Diego. His courses teach students the tools and processes for designing interactions between humans and technology, drawing from fields as diverse as cognitive science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, sociology, psychology, and organizational behavior.
